Are you ready for the upcoming Holidays?? Maybe the better question.. Am I???

Please don't even get me started on all the stressors that make
enjoying the holiday season this year difficult and that have been
wearing me out so much recently. I am really looking forward to my
upcoming doctor's appointment so I can get some help with this
struggle of mine. I've still been in the midst of a whole lot of
rough stuff so please keep sending your love and well- wishes. I
can definitely use all of the postitive energy I can get over
here!!
How is your holiday season going for you this year.. and since when did the "Most Wonderful Time of the Year" also become the most stressful time of the year?? I'm trying to produce plenty of cheer for my kids and also some holiday excitement but I am so drained by the current reality that is my life.
I hope that you are enjoying yourself and time with your loved ones. That's what this special time is for. Me... I've been dreaming of spending a lot of time with my parents lately. Tough times still make me "want my mommy!" and I've been getting some good astral advice from my dad and his side of the family lately also. Can't wait to hang out with them all again! (Soon I hope.)
I plan on seeing them on Christmas Eve this year although not all of the family is going to be able to make it. I'm sure it will still be a great time. It seems like it's been hard for me to really get in the spirit of things this year with everything that's been going on although I did do some decorating and listen to lots of holiday music, have a big pretty tree and presents for the kids.. *sigh* something's still missing.. maybe it's snow, maybe becuse I haven't baked any cookies yet?? Idk I just say that its my current circumstances. I'm trying so hard to fight the negativity but it's been so hard to do.
Court, meetings, missing work, being tired, and broke this time of year sucks!! I'm sure you know that if you are there too or have been! I'm not one to ask for much.. but if anybody is doing much better than I am at the current time I would greatly appreciate any donations of love for this season. You might really help me make it through this extremely difficult time. I wish you all of the best and send you all of my love!!

Another day of court continuances... blah,,,

Well yeah I've been talking about the recent dramas of my life both
here and on my other account J080806 and
trying to leave it as bland and simple as possible because it seems
that all I have been doing lately is go to court dates or
bajillions of other kinds of meetings. Everything is family related
and supposed to be helpful to all of us but it's really starting to
wear us down and out quite a bit. I think when this is all said and
done with I might need a month long nap.. hey mom wanna watch the
kids so I can come down to South Beach and spend a month on the
sand???
OMG!! I try my best not to let things get to me.. anxiety meds helped me through yet another court date this morning. We would've just had a continuance for today and not have to go to court at all but my son's father insisted that he "had things to bring up and say" so we were denied a continuance and still had to go as per what we were told via my son's public defender. Soo there's a little bit to this story that I have not previously mentioned mostly because I know when it comes to the courtroom it is usually best to keep your mouth shut, listen and observe the happenings of the moment.
There was another court date yesterday that was quite a drive away. We have had to go to that courthouse in today's same court matter many many times at a very large expense. It has been such a large and unexpeceted set of circumstances that our family has struggled financially for the past year now. We try to stay strong but it has been somewhat of a major challenge. I pray every day that we can overcome the obstacles that have been put in our way.
I had mentioned in a previous blog that my life woud make a great movie or that maybe one day I would write a tell-all book. I don't always have the time to work on such projects as my three wonderful children keep me constantly busy. My youngest is bouncing on the couch next to me and having a great time right now as I try to concentrate on writing this blog. She knows how adorably cute I think she is so she thinks it's funny to try and drive mommy crazy while I try to make an attempt at doing pretty much any of my work lol. I will come back and have more to say soon when she is finished making her commentary about what I am trying to write right now.

Been having a pretty good week so far.. what to do now?

I'm trying to make a game plan for today. Maybe I should grab
another cup of
coffee. My days have been filled with all sorts of appointments
and meetings lately plus spending lots of good time with the family
so that has been really nice. I've met so many great new people
lately and that has been very enjoyable. I've also gotten to see
some friends that I haven't seen in a while so that's always
awesome too.
I've been getting on the website to work on all kinds of new projects. As always there's plenty to be done! I'm glad that web design is so much fun for me. I'm always trying to think up cool new ideas to keep things fresh and exciting! I need to do work on the games page and also on the win prizes page among a few others.
Hmmm looking at pics and deciding what to use in my blog and then I spaced out for a minute while listening to a noise outside.. now about that cup of coffee.. Wow, good morning everybody! Hope you have a beautiful day!

Still trying to shake off this cold

Everyone at my place has been sick. It's not very fun. I wish I
could just sleep it off but I can't of course because I'm busy
taking care of the rest of my family. I took some tylenol for the
aches that I've been having and am sitting down with my laptop and
cup of coffee while they have their lunch.
I've been wanting to feel better. I'm looking for new inspiration to work on projects for the website or just things to do in general. I guess I haven't worked on the virtual world in a little while. I also want to take new photos and make new videos but I haven't really been up for doing that this week either. I had motivation and then this cold came along and put a hold on my plans for the time being.
So for now while not feeling the best I've been trying to do tedious little tasks like deleting spam from the website which is quite a project in itself. I've been putting that off for a while because it is boring but when I feel like not doing anything it is an easy mindless task so I feel like I'm at least doing something productive.
So I expect today to be a lazy day around the house. I wish I was having more fun but oh well. Anybody is welcome to keep me company today but idk how much fun I will be lol.. wish for me that I get better soon.. thanks!

A dark and quiet day to have a cold

I woke up in the middle of the night last night feeling sick and
very achy. We are getting some rain now that's left over from
Hurricane Issac. It's kinda dark today although the rain has
stopped for now. I slept pretty late today since I wasn't feeling
well.
The kids are napping right now and I am trying to decide what to do with my evening. I have really been wanting to spend time with friends but being sick isn't helping much with that. I sat here on the couch and grabbed my laptop to see what I can find to do for now.
I figured that I would start by checking messages and replying to them and from there I decided to write this blog. It's kind of quiet and nothing very exciting is going on at the moment. I thought about doing some painting but even that doesn't sound all that fun right now.
These are some mandalas that I colored a while back and the thought of doing some more crossed my mind to fight off boredom. They are kind of easy to do and a temporary distraction from being bored but I'm not sure if that's what I'll do.
I could read or do a puzzle or something but yeah idk.. I want more excitement than that.. anybody have more ideas for me? That's what I feel like I've been lacking in the most this week.. is fun stuff to do.. I've gone on some walks to be around more people and have been trying to get together with friends but not a whole lot of luck with that over the past couple of days.

Where to begin and what to write about

I wanted to write a blog and I'm not really sure what to write
about so I am writing anyway. I ran some errands today and went for
a walk. The sun was good and hot. The last summer festival is
coming to town for the year.
Some friends, family and I are planning to go to the parade for the holiday on Monday. I don't have any other big weekend plans so far but it would be great to find something fun to do. Anybody want to come hang out?
We got Apple TV today. I haven't really gotten to look at it much yet. I watched a few YouTube videos on it so far. I'm glad I got out of the house today. I was home on the computer for a couple days and was starting to get bored. I need to do more exercise and definitely want to do something exciting. Today has been a good day so far but I could really use some good entertainment.
So yeah what else.. the car died this week but then it started working again so that was a good thing. I'm hanging out with my kids and wishing I had grown ups to talk to right now. Only an hour and a half till bed time for them and then I don't know what I am going to do.. probably stare at my computer and try to think of more things to write since that is one thing I should be/ could be working on right now.

Oil painting that I've been working on

I felt like doing some painting but I wasn't really sure what I was
in the mood to paint so I started out with some colors, canvas and
paint brush and turned on the radio and went where the music and my
mood took me. This is what I've come up with so far.. the first
night of painting..
I spent some more time working on my painting last night and here is where I am at now. I need to go get some more white paint today. I am running low so I wasn't able to produce quite the colors that I was looking for yet.
I'm looking forward to finding out what my painting will look like after another day of work.. I'll keep adding new pics to show my progress :)

Please summer don't leave me!

Oh it was so hot out and then it cooled off a whole lot outside. I
am not ready for summer to be over yet. I never am. I love the hot
weather. Today is a nice warm day so I am glad for that. I hope we
get plenty more this year before the cold weather comes. I went to
a park recently to soak in a little more summer.. I think I should
go do that again soon.
There was a nice lake that I went to. I always enjoy the water.. It's so peaceful and pretty. It was a great afternoon to go for a walk.
Ok I'm convinced.. I need to go find me some more nature to enjoy today!

My life would make a really great movie

I swear so many crazy things happen to me and the people I know
that I seriously believe that my life would make an amazing movie.
I really need to write about it more. The past two weeks.. or even
the past few days ALONE could be a whole movie in itself!! I can't
even begin to expain all of the stuff that's gone on. WOW.. it's
all pretty overwhelming really. I don't even know where to begin.
I'm working hard to maintain my sanity and take things one day at a
time right now.
I've been too exhausted to even come online much over the past couple of weeks as I'm sure you may have noticed. It does make me happy to see everyone that's still here uploading videos or adding pics and comments or whatever.. everyone that is a part of NakedGirlsRadio.com is kind of like my online family and it's always good to hear from you! Thanks for being here :) When I'm ready maybe I'll start working on writing more about recent events.. for now I'm just trying to chill and gradually get back on the site more. Trying to get used to my new schedule

There have been a whole lot of changes in my life lately. One of
the biggest changes has been that after way too many years of
hoping and waiting my son was court ordered to come and live with
me and the rest of his family that lives here. It has been a very
exciting time for everyone but is also a huge adjustment.
I have been busy trying to put kids first and then keep up with the rest of the day like work and errands. It has been different but in a good way. Each day I'm having to work harder and harder because there are so many more things to get done now but I look forward to the challenge before me. The bigger the challenge the bigger the rewards- so bring it!
I have had a cold for the past couple days so that has slowed me down a little but luckily the discomfort was less today than yesterday so I was able to at least get some things done. Yesterday all I wanted to do was lay in bed and sleep. I have occasional aches, pains, sneezes and a runny nose but a big improvement over yesterday!
I've spent time with the family and been able to take care of them and also spend time on the website doing my daily upkeep and tasks plus working on new projects as always. I've worked on some sales stuff and talked to some people on the phone. I've heard some crazy news today. I am sending out love and good thoughts to all those that need it tonight. Take care!
