The Moving Process...

I wonder where the photos are from 6 weeks ago.. believe it or not this is a HUGE improvement but still depressing...

it's been an exhausting while now... the dishes were piling up... duh nuh nuhhhhh

Here you can see that at least the walls are getting beautiful :D That actually helps keep me motivated. I imagine a lot of people would save decorating for last but not me. No way. I need something to keep me going... a happy thought to look forward to and things on the walls really helps it feel more like home.

I have been hanging things on the wall since the first couple of days of moving in. The place was an absolute disaster! Even after all the tons of stuff we donated or threw away we still had WAY too much stuff! We were waist deep in boxes and things with a long narrow pathway leading down the hallway and in between bedrooms and bathrooms.

That wasn't about to stop me from doing my decorating though and I have been gradually adding to it since then. It definitely takes a lot of visualization, trial and error to make everything work together as a whole. After this past Monday game night and chatting with a few good friends I finished putting up this wall art on the main focal wall in the dining area. I still need some tea-lite candles for the candle holders but other than that I like how it turned out. This project took lots of measuring and planning and was a bit time consuming but I am definitely happy about the way that it all looks so that's awesome!!

The living room was one of the first places I cleared although we could not find the hardware for the entertainment center so we went without tv for the first couple weeks we were here. Thank goodness for laptop computers and Netflix! I cleared a little spot but the coffee table was still buried in "stuff" for forever.. the kids would mess up the small space around the table very quickly. They would go on the balcony sometimes but it was cluttered and crowded too.

All three kids have been used to a large yard of their own for a long time now. Imagine 3 kids bored out of their minds being all rowdy and being stuck in literal "tunnels" for days and days at a time and trying to get things put away.. scary- I know! So I FINALLY got it clean for real for the first time about 2 days ago and that includes all the dusting, windows, mirrors, scrubbing the floor and every other thing u could imagine. Now the challenge is making the kids keep it that way but AHHHHH that feels so much better!! :)

Oil painting that I've been working on

I felt like doing some painting but I wasn't really sure what I was in the mood to paint so I started out with some colors, canvas and paint brush and turned on the radio and went where the music and my mood took me. This is what I've come up with so far.. the first night of painting..

I spent some more time working on my painting last night and here is where I am at now. I need to go get some more white paint today. I am running low so I wasn't able to produce quite the colors that I was looking for yet.

Trying out more light painting ...but at night this time

I waited alll day for night to come so that I would be able to attempt light painting in darkness. I still had no good colored lights to work with but I still had a fun time experimenting in the dark.

This was one of the cool photos I eneded up with while using the white LED keychain that I had been using that day. I love how it lights up the ceiling and hovers there in mid air.

This shape was a bit more difficult to create than the one above it but I was really pleased with the end result. You can see me hovering around in the middle of it though this time. Sometimes I think it's cool to kind of be there but it's also really cool to see the photos where I have vanished into thin air.

Although I didn't think of it the same when I made this white light painting (above) now it does remind me of a sideways spiraling football. It's also pretty cool how light paintings will show up in a mirror as you can see behind this one.

Finally I needed some color in my light painting so I grabbed several different things to try out. I made a couple photos by stretching water balloons over the LED light on the keychain I already had and in this photo I actually grabbed a red and a purple tube of Sex Shots Ultra and held them together with my white keychain light.

Learning to paint with light

I had come across a website the other day about how to do light painting. I guess I had seen some light paintings before but not really known what it was. I started watching a video about it and the video told me that I already had the tools that I needed to give it a try right here at home.. so I set off to learn more.

Light painting has to do with special effects photography. It really isn't that hard to do once you've figured out how to set your camera correctly. I have a nice Nikon camera but I really don't know anything technical about cameras or photography at all so it took me a few hours of watching people's tutorials online and reading about how my camera settings work.

It was the middle of the afternoon when I figured out how this works and was amazed to find how cool it looks even in the daylight. I experimented with simple shapes at first and seeing what I could do. I was looking forward to trying it again once it got darker outside.

day time was fun but again.. night time is supposed to be the best time for light painting.. and for now all I had was this white LED keychain to use as a light source... hmmm what to do??

More glowy neon pole dance artwork from photos

I have been playing with my special effects programs on my computer again today and seeing what I can make out of some of the photos I have that have been taking up space on the hard drive. I like to do lots of neon and glowing stuff since it looks cool on the black background of the site. I was asked to make a neon glowing band logo for a friend the other day actually. I will have to work on that soon also. Here is a photo of my while I was doing some pole dancing that I added some effects to.

Happy Holidays! I hope yours are wonderful! :)

I have been so busy for the holiday season this year. It would be really great to have some time to relax and enjoy it before it's all over.  I need to make some Christmas cookies or something soon. I usually take some sort of holiday Christmas pics but I haven't had time or energy for any photo shoots lately. I also haven't been shopping for any new outfits lately but one of these days I'll find time again to do some sort of photo and video shoots.

I hope everybody is having a good December so far and I wish you all a beautiful holiday season! I'm not really expecting any gifts for Christmas this year. The Naked Girls Radio Neon Collection Artwork

I will be posting a series of photos and videos from the Naked Girls Radio neon artwork collection. I made them using two different Mac Books and photos that I have taken after a live broadcast of Naked Girls Radio with Chris Star and Tiffany Tease. They are some model/ dancer friends of mine that would join me on the air all the time. These girls were wild and crazy and always a great time! The videos in the series are pole dance videos that I have made of myself pole dancing to the music of Naked Girls Radio.

A blog (a portmanteau of the term web log))[1] is a discussion or informational site published on the World Wide Web and consisting of discrete entries ("posts") typically displayed in reverse chronological order (the most recent post appears first). Until 2009 blogs were usually the work of a single individual, occasionally of a small group, and often covered a single subject. More recently "multi-author blogs" (MABs) have developed, with posts written by large numbers of authors and professionally edited.
